화이팅: [Hwa-i-ting]
One of the most famous Korean expressions—even though it isn’t actually English. Borrowed from the word “fighting,” Koreans use it to mean “You can do it!” or “Good luck!” You’ll hear it before exams, sports games, interviews, or whenever someone needs encouragement. It’s so common that many Koreans don’t realize native English speakers don’t use “fighting” this way.
